kevs kapers 2002

Looking forward to catching KB live!
Firstly, thank god for the worldwideweb. After weeks of searching and hounding music shops and getting nowhere and thinking maybe I should have a look on the internet and there you were.... so thank you....
We miss the cruises and look forward to seeing you when we are next in Sin City. Happy New Year to you both. The hunting is good, thanks for asking ! Regards, from us and Our 6 year old Blues Baby conceived on board circa 1995
Tell KB he has to keep boogieing!
hope you and my good fishin mate kev had a great xmas and new year . Hey i was wrapped to hear that another cruise will be hopefully happining soon . Im sure we could rustle up 10 able seamen and women for the event im red hot keen and would prefer it on a saturday night as i would suspect most people would. Hope to hear from u soon from a true kev fishin freak
just heard at 9.50am the La de dah's mentioned as the biggest most successful band to come out of NZ. Named Kevin Borich as the Legendary Guitarist who recently played up here at the Healer in December and has a new album out and mentioned he lives on the Sunshine Coast. His "long lost classic" was "Too Pooped to Pop" even though they mentioned "Gonna See Your Baby Tonight" which was probably more popular - but it was great to hear KB getting some overdue recogition. Also mentioned that one of the band members robbed a bank in Sydney and was then deported back to NZ - not our Kevin !!!!
keep me informed of the Big KB news ok
Just a thank you note for the Big Kahuna CD , recieved with a special surprise, the recent photo of Kev . The live sounds bought back lots of memories, I just sat back and enjoyed. I was going to suggest different songs or no band on the dobro CD, but no ! I just enjoyed what you presented . No one could not ask for more . Thank you again , Love the Groove
Thanks for the other night, as usual - fantastic - what else can I say. See you soon somewhere on the globe
Hey, wheres the Melbourne gigs Kev !.
any gigs coming up in sydney,,,
The old stuff that KB was playing at the time took me back to when I used to watch him at the Governor's Pleasure in 1981.
Deb Morrice is spot on. There is no better live performer than Kevin in Australia. Still wondering if Kevin will make it out to Melbourne. Happy New Year...
we will be seeing family at the coast and then finish off the weekend in the best way, KB at Byron. Looking forward to it!
& let KB continue to Rockem'
As a bass player, learning to play by myself in the late 70,s early 80,s living in the middle of nowhere in Tennant Creek in the NT (I still haven't seen Kevin play live yet althogh I live in Sydney now, just missed him in Cairns in 1990) one of my main inspirations was Tim Patridge 's playing on the first two albums , especially Rescue Dream and Love My Love is there any info available one what gear he was using at the time and how he got that great sound and what is he doing now? Its a pity there is'nt an Australian version of the TV series Classic Albums of the making of the first Kevin Borich Express LP because it is one of the great Aussie albums of all time (and not just for guitar players but for bassists as well) Beat Regards
Impressive.
good to see k.b. is touring around but when is his next sydney area gig? i'm keen to to see the legend play asap
I caught KB's performance at bimbadgen @ easter - it was a great day except for the MUD!
We would like to know the time Kevin will be starting his act at the Sawtell Hotel on Saturday night as we have to travel 2 hours to get there. Cant wait should be a good night closest he has been to us in ages
I have just received the CD/s you sent me,thank you very much. What a way to spend Australia Day,-a b.b.q. and KB screaming out 'Advance Australia Fair',-fantastic'.That will be the show starter on 'Volcanic Rock' next Wednesday night with a lot more KB thrown in of course
Had the best day at Byron Bay - thank the boys !!! we all loved it - filth !!
Just a message to KB to thank him for the great gig at Newport on 5/1. I was on holidays in Sydney from Victoria and thought the show was great. Haven't seen KB for 25 years and can't believe he still looks the same! Wish I could say the same for myself! Anyway hope to see another show in the not too distant future.
I have only just heard of Kevin and have yet to hear him I like what I have read so far
How about a release (on video or dvd)of the New Years gig which was televised.
Saw KB this weekend, first time in ages. AMAZING. He still plays with the same intensity he did back then, World Class.
seems like these clubs and pubs are hard to please .... "they all need re - edum"i"cating - thank god our boys love his music
we are great fans of Kevin ....Look forward to hearing that guitar sing
Everyone needs more KB in their life...
My brother is coming to Sydney on Monday, and I want him to get me some of the recent KB CDs-Kahuna/One night Jamm/Heartstarter. Could you please advise me if there is a shop he can go to in Sydney to buy them? Are they only available at the Fan Club? Is there a fan base in Sydney that he can personally go to?.....Any possible signs of Kev doin a quick NZ tour in the future??
G,day KB, disappointed you couldn't find anywhere to play down here in Melbourne, keep looking PLEASE !!!!. I was wondering about a couple of strats you used to use in the seventies. You used to play the blond one off the celebration album cover and a chocolate brown one if I remember right. Do you still own and play these strats ?, or have they disappeared over the years.I look forward to you coming to Melbourne soon , I remember the old days of you playing at places like the tiger room in Richmond and Bombay rock in Brunswick, they were the days ! Keep on riffin'
Go KB!
Thankyou. I got the CD and it,s fab. Please add me to the email newsletter list.
.....at the Moruya Markets every Saturday and because it's stinking hot I've been wearing my white KB Tshirt I got last year...I am really blown out by the number of people who get into a rave with me about Kev...some of them the most unlikely looking rock fans...as I check his web site regularly I'm able to impart many words of wisdom of what he's currently doing and on many occasions have written the sites address on the back of my cards so they can check it out for themselves...many people stoked to hear of him playing with Harry and Mark too......even find some know about the Happy Prince. Years ago Kevin said he might be doing something with the concept...tell him to get off his bum and do it. It was a brilliant bit of work for its time and I know I'd love to get hold of a CD of the full album....I only have a section on the black covered Best of the La De Da's anthology. I'd love to hear him record "Come and Fly with Me" that song has so many memoeies for me.
 KB + Cooky
Turfcare Party
Thank you I did enjoy KB's show the other night.
Yes at last I have my favourite cd back.....The cd spends a fair bit of time in my Corvette were it belongs
.....the latest stuff is much stronger than the earlier material (ie more honest and from the heart)
Always a pleasure to play KB's music.Well I hope he does make it to SA .....If he did I will be there with bells on
I have the promo CDS that you issued and I have taken a walk down memory lane. I was 16 in 1976 around the time Kevin was billed with ACDC, what a stunning era.
Loved "king bee" a great version of a classic song. It would be a pleasure to feature such an accomplished musician on my show! I keep playing King Bee! Love the guitar work!
He is the Master.. Theres some Mouth watering gigs going on. I wish the Master would blast on down to Melbourne. I know its not easy but we can only dream that he will make the trip this year....
Kevs show last Saturday at Bramble Bay BC was brilliant.I was wondering where I could read the lyrics for the opening song "Slow Replay" .What a great song.Maybe Kevin would consider putting it on the website?
Just a note to say last night was fantastic, of course our favorite was Kevin he was awesome, and the way the crowd got up to dance when Kevin came on stage was unreal. Do you have any plans to tour with that line up? Once again thanks for the great night.
Thanks for the welcome. Yeah I've been into Kev's music for years. Being from Melbourne though I haven't seen him play for a long time. Next time he has a gig in Melbourne, let me know in advance and I sure will be there.
Cheers for the info, we went up and down the coast over Xmas but Kev was going the opposite way, Doh. Going to be great catching up, saw KB and Phil Emmanuel in 1991 at Breaky Creek Hotel I think it was in Brisbane, what a show
The CD's are fantastic, everything I expected, the Big Kahuna my current favourite but I think it's all great.
KB's music is sooooo..... good. We've taken other musco's to his gigs and they are left in awe - speechless. Just love the intro to "Beatn' my Heart" beautiful Spanish sound - where does he get his channels?!!?!
I have been a fan of Kevin's for many years. Is it possible to get a signed photo from Kevin. I am not a dealer just an average Aussies fan who appreciates great guitar music and guitarists
Good to see you on Sunday. The general consensus was that Kevin was the best on the day.

Fire and
Rain KB ~ Phil Emmanuel ~ Ian Moss
Fire and Rain Concert was awesome, I had a smile from ear to ear. Keep on rockin'

Does Kevin ever tour the US? (which is where I live)

Thanks for the news; great to see that KB is still rockin; he's one of the best.
Saw Kev play Sat night at Palm Beach, he was awsome...
KB poet prince of love - he is a fantabulous writer / performer
My father-in-law first saw Borich when he was in the La De Da's in the late sixties, and my husband first saw Borich in 1986 with the Party Boys at the Powerhouse Nightclub in Toowoomba QLD, and have also seen him on many other occasions. Looking forward to seeing Borich again, hopefully in our local area of Albury.

KB's stuff was just excellent and the sessions he did with the other guys were by far the best part of the show

I went to the Iron Knob Hotel on Saturday, the night of the 18 May 2001, to see the Kevin Borich Live. What a Show! Kevin Borich Express - I've never heard such a fantasic version of "Rollin' & Tumblin'". "Dust My Broom", as the Drum & Bass solos were fantastic, and which left my heart with a new feeling for the Blues, and that also blew the fans away. As James told me two weeks before the show, "They are on FIRE!!!!!".

I was dazzled by KB's playing as usual and having a chat to him after.
Thanks for coming down our way again, we do appreciate it.

I also used to live in London durnig the early 80s and I again saw KB in action in several pubs and other places. I livein hte US now, and have a desire to see some Australian music, and great guitar playing!

From time to time a few minutes (or songs) right up near the PA cab's during one of KB's numbers is really great !! ie; Moonee Moonee Workers Club (North of Syd) - June (?) 2000.
Atrocious weather, but a great gig and I had a lovely chat with Harry Brus. And Kev, gracious cat that he is, played "Morning, Good Morning" for my boy Lucas (it's his favourite LDDs song). Had a couple of inclement weather experiences with Kev actually -- we went on the Blues Cruise last year, which was a terrific gig, and Kev had a young bass player sitting in with him who was really hot, one of Harry's protege's I think, but oh my god, the weather -- it absolutely BELTED down about 1 minute after the boat pulled out. I keep saying it, but I just don't really understand it - you only have to see him once to see what a brilliant player he is, and he's as good playing solo with a Dobro as with the whole band, and boy I tell you what, when he does that great version of 'Voodoo Chile' where he segues into 'Sex Machine' - transcendent! As they say in New York -- what's not to like?? And he sort of falls into the Rick Springfield department, visually -- I can only dream that I'll look that good when Im his age (as if!) hahaha.
Spot on! KB is great
Ah my favouerite "six pack" Mr B can park his boots under my bed anytime (LOL) That aside - he is possibly one of the most dynamic performers ever to grace a stage - energy and emotion and he takes command of a stage whether solo or fronting a band. Magical in every way. Why is he so maligned when they do all these "history of" specials in Australia .... he WAS there and he is STILL making history!
Is Kev passing through Brisbane at the moment and not doing any gigs?
Kevin Borich - Absolutely Unbelievable!!!!
Would love to know gigs scheduled for Sydneys and surrounds.
when is Kevin Borich coming to the Central Coast of NSW again.I would love to see him perform again.

I'm sorry Kev. Did I miss it?? I didn't see a thing there towards a stateside visit

....yet another exceptional gig by the man my good fishin mate K.B. I was stoked to get goin fishin belted out yet again i only wish that he would include it in his format that way i would not loose my voice yelling at him to play it ha ha. Oh yeah thanks for the poster and thanks kev for putting your paw print on it (great stuff) .
Anyhow keep it up kev

all the punters who were at the gig were really Stoked" at the bands performance.

On 'Saturday Night special' just gone, I opened the show with KB - Advance Australia Fair, and closed with - Waltzing Matilda. I also gave the upcoming tour dates, VIC and S.A. After my show, I switched over to the 'National Rock And Blues Show, on the satellite and heard James Glendinning play KB and give the tour dates also. I decided to ring him and have a chat which we did, he then put me to air and we spoke about various things including our plan to get KB back to Warrnambool. What a blast! Now all of Jame's listeners know that we are still flying the flag for KB and other deserving artists. How's that for coincidence!!

Great! But when is KB coming to MELBOURNE?

A big Thankyou to KB and the band for a fantastic night at the Workers May 16th '02. KB you are absolutely the BEST... Unbelievable... Harry has the longest arms this side of the black stump, how the hell does he play the bass way-down-there?? Mark is fantastic on drums!! What a trio, a great night entertained by these exceptional musicians!! Please, Please, Please come back again.

stick it up em master borich it was i who spoke the words thost walks on strings

Saw Kev out at Sweeney's again early May, great show Kev, keep on rockin.

You were my guitar hero through the 70's and you continue to be a mover and shaker in the worlds of rock and blues. I followed your career through the La De Da's, the Express and the Party Boys and though I've never seen you live at any venue I have enjoyed your music on album and a few times on TV over the past thirty odd years.

We would love to be on your mailing list

How good was KB at the Party Boys on Sat. night!?

just got the La De Das Legend CD in the mail from Germany - bought it thru E-Bay - so Kevin's CD is going rather international here you can tell Kevin he's music certainly gets around. It is going to be the first CD played in my new car in about 40 mins when I go out - thought it was the best way to christen it!!

.....looking forward to the new cd. the shop section has cruise tickets for sale. if so i want in. i can muster a group of people

Congratulations to Kev and you - its good to see his name appear on the TV ad for 'Long Way to the .........'
I dont know if I told you this originally but I collect records and cd's as a bit of a hobby. Well I recently found two of your albums in secondhand shops. The first one was Live! at Bombay Rock in Brunswick 79 and I have to tell you its one of the best albums I have in my collection. The other one was Borich and Tilders which I also love and play all the time. I put then on to cd for myslef so i could preserve the albums. Anyway just wanted to let you know they were both good, and I loved the one I bought from you as well along with the signed picture

I am, breathlessly awaiting your next Sydney or South Coast gig. Hope all is well in your world.

Can you make sure that KB's "Silent Treatment" is on his next album ... please.. luv it

Hope everything is going well there in KB Land!

my thanks to kevin for the mail, it gave me a good laugh

CD arrived today had it blasting out all day on repeat , ye old work shop was really rockin, I would like to order "One night Jamin" but will do that through the web site, could you include a few more leeflets as the one you sent have been snaffled up!

I am so glad I found your website. I have been searching for the La DE Dars material all over Melbourne for some years now to no avail. Of course the web resulted in nothing as well. It was quite by chance I typed in KB's name and bingo. Thank you for making it all happen. I would swim through beer with my mouth closed for some original La De Dars records or CDs. I know it is not listed for sale on the website but is there any way I can access this material. ie beg borrow or steal or buy or sacrifice chickens or what?

your a Ledgen the CD arrived today thanks for the supprise CD it would make Little Johnny Howard cringe, hell! the Nat. anthem needs an update, speaking of ledgen I often play "All along the watch tower" off the La De Da's Ledgen album to friends that are into Jimmy Hendrix, KB's version leaves them gob smacked! if they dig Jimmi's Star Spangled banner they will be blown away by KB's Advance Aust Fair!
"Heart Starter" is next on my list of must haves

Kev - maaaaaaate - I really can't remember where I saw you - somewhere in a pub in London in the early 80s. All I know is that it was a great show, and I have been a bigger fan since then. Saw you in Melbourne a couple of times too, plus the obligatory Countdown appearances.
Just a great experience to see you in bliss!

Could you please let me know if Kevin is actually playing in the LWTT concert. I have heard that he is, but cannot confirm such.

Love it...King Bee rocks.

Last night was fantastic, I haven't seen Kevin play since I was a teenager and he was awesome as was the band.

I am so happy to be reunited with this stuff I can't start to tell you.  Thank you for the CDs and making it all happen.  There is a god!.  I will keep an eye out for Melbourne tour dates and get a couple of mates together and get there.  Thanks for the note and the quick service.  Keep up the good work.

Hope life and business is going well for you. Can't wait to catch another KB gig.
I'm on KB withdrawal patches till I get another live hit!
Can't wait to hear the results of the new studio
.

.....watching ABC Long Way To The Top. Where was  Kevin Borich for God's Sake!!

....Mossys because of that lovely lead work he does on Chisels One Long Day. Llobby Lloyd - yeh ..great one ! Hoe about Kevin Borich ? Wooh hoo !!

Found KB by searching the net for blues/blues-rock artists on Google search engine. Listened to a couple of samples and the rest is history.  Keep up the good work.

hey we just got our tickets for Long Way to The Top and look forward to seeing Kev and all the other great bands play the show.....if you get any backstage passes don't forget to give us a yell....lol.....sorry just had to ask,lol.... Hope you have a great tour with The Kev man up on stage. it should be a hoot.

Can't wait to hear it...

Could you pass on to K.B. the best wishes and good luck for the LWTT concerts from the 'VOLCANIC ROCK' listeners,(and presenter).Might catch up next Wed. if possible.Continue to get positive vibes from last weeks interview, some from people I didn't think even listened to V.R. All say K.B. was great,-informative and friendly,--- I agree wholeheartedly

....chances of coming across this CD in the US are about nil, whereas in Oz you may stand a better chance! Rest assured, the CD is going to a good home!

Anyway, it would be great if the trip coincided with a KB gig - I can but wait and see! The very last time I saw KB was at the Village Green in Melbourne, late '82, just before I left to move to London. Remember it like it was yesterday. I saw him many times prior to that too, while I was at RMIT, just about every gig in Melbourne from '78 onwards.

Caught one of your Melbourne shows last night, great stuff! Pity only one song but. Took me back to the days of watching the express at some of your bigger gigs you did. I remember the music bowl in Melbourne, you were supporting Status Quo I think. That was the first time I saw the Express, but not the last! Jeez musta been 1977? Keep on slidin, love ya work!...

One cruise isn't enough!!

Im also interested in another Rock Cruise.  The last was one FANTASTIC.

keen to go on the KB Sydney Harbour Cruise

.....I heard this strange guitar sound/blues/Hendrix/almost feedback - huh, what's this I thought - then the mighty Kevin Borich walked up the stage steps playing his Strat - great. One song later & Kev's gone. Ah f**k, I thought. KB, only one song - don't damn well tease me! ....what a let down!

I caught up with Kevin last night at the Canberra leg of "Long Way..."Fantastic show - unbelievable really - and HIGHLY recommended to anyone - even those of us who are too young to remember these guys ;-)
I'm only 26...The afterparty was great - staggered home at 4:30 this morning - we had a ball...Love & Hugs to Kevin - we'll have to catch up with him soon...

Oz Rock rules !!

Just thought I'd let you know the Man was a highlight of LWTTT on Saturday............... but only one song..bummer
The show was pretty guitar dominated with a lot of samey Marshall driven excess but KBs guitar stood out.....despite a certain "house band" guitarist cranking his volume a tad too much.
The fact that KB is still performing his own thing today just gave him that edge over a lot of the other acts.
(He also looked the youngest of the lot)
As we say in the country He done real good
P.S   I wore my KB T shirt just to fly the flag

I first saw the KBE around 1980(?) at the Elsternwick (Vic) Football ground and many times after that. Thanks for a heap of good times and great music.

hope all is well with the 'caped crusader of blues' ....

There is a saying that if you can crack it in Wollongong, you can  crack it anywhere, and how true that is. We have a strong music base  which is mostly alternative, but whose intuition and judgement of  artists is usually on the mark..... say gidday to the kevster

....a gang of Borich fans on the beautiful Sydney harbour in the summer twilight/evening. An evening not to miss.

Thank you for the  KB CDs and the poster.
I haven't haerd any new KB stuff, since his day's with the Party Boys, and Worlds On Fire, single some 15 years ago. I used to follow him in Melbourne about 20 years back. He's still got the goods and man is he still hot. Keep on rocking KB

Kev was as always an absolute knockout, and I could hear comments about how amazing he looked from numerous ladies in the audience around me. Blistering performance, as we have come to expect.

You are sooo right about Kevin Borich! I wan't to drink what ever it is he drinks. It is obviously from the fountain of youth. His playing was well ..... what can I say, the man is a legend!

Saw KB at LWTTT last  night..he was fantastic. How come he never seems to get any older looking?

Kev was brilliant at LWTTT, as always, and I heard a lot of very positive comments (and a few 'phwoarrh' type utterances haha) on the night. He certainly gets the guernsey for "best preserved" -- I don't mean that as a backhander of course -- it's just very striking how incredibly young and fit he looks, especially in comparison to come of his near contemporaries -- although they all looked pretty good from where we were sitting, considering their "adventures" of earlier days!
Anyway I hope you both had a great time on the tour and that it leads to more good things for Kev. Please give him my best.

Long Way To The Top
....saw LWTTT in Melbourne on Thursday, only one song but KB stole the show, he was magnificent.

Saw Kevin playing on the Long Way to the Top Tour.... September 2002----- Great stuff, Gonna See My Baby Tonight went down really well.  Got to meet Kevin across the road at a pub - very friendly and steered me to his website.
Been following him since La De Das and Celebration !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
keep wanging Kev !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Keep playing and great sounds...............Hope to see you playing again.

went to the Entertainment Centre to see Long Way To The Top - WHAT A BLAST!  That period was MY LIFE - it brought back such good memories.  Kevin sounded great - it was a pity he couldn't have put together at least some of the La De Dah's and sung a few more numbers.  Some, like Billy Thorpe, got a fair amount of time onstage (although I know it would have had a lot to do with him being Producer!)  Anyway, everyone just put so much into it and the audience really appreciated it.  Can't wait for the DVD!

and tell him I LOVED his long way to the top performance

The first live band I ever saw was the Kevin Borich Express at the Springwood Civic Centre. For this I am eternally grateful to the organisers of these events, the Blue Mountains Youth Forum. In those days the Blue Mountains may have well have been f***in' Alice Springs as far as the Sydney promoters were concerned. Nobody came west of Parramatta. But Borich did ... the band were tight, loud and gave me a fuzzy hot feeling deep, deep inside that to this day no man or beast can reproduce. I had found my one true(uncomplicated) love ... live music.

Brilliant to see that Kevin is playing in Melbourne. I have been waiting for this for ages...I will spread the word around..should be great.
Thanks very much and will be there without fail...

KB
~
Harry Brus

Im hooked... KB is something else

give KB my best as he is one of Australias living legends

I saw the show at Armadillos on Thursday 24th October..and it blew me away.! Many thanks.

We were hoping to be booking some tickets for the Kewl Kruise but I will be at the other end of the country during that time.  Seems as though we are always at he wrong end of the country this year to see KB.  I have only caught one KB gig this year at Sweeny's in Sydney (and what a show!) Spewing I will miss the Castle Hill gig with Richard Clapton and Billy Thorpe. Keep on rockin Kev and keep that Thunderbird screaming. Maybe I will jump on a jet, the KB Krewse sounds like reason enough to go AWOL and spend a few days in the slammer!!

BANDFEST - Castle Hill Tavern
I believe white boys can play the blues and the use of electric instuments does no harm at all.

I have been waiting for over 2 years for you and the band to get back to Melbourne, to show us vics what the band is about, I can’t wait, nice play on words, till he boogies his way down here to show these people that Kev is going somewhere, I am counting the days,

any Newcastle dates in K.B's future

  Great Rock On Kevin. Loveya

has Kevin any plans to release a DVD of any sort? That would be fantastic! Looking forward to seeing him again at the Melbourne Int Blues Festival.

Hey kev glad to hear you have been havin a rage gigin round the place . Oh and yeah i certainlly look forward to go fishin with yu on the cruise to get that heartstarted again after such a long absence..... see yu there cheers your good fishin mate

perhaps for those of us not in Melbourne to see him on TV you could sell us a copy on video?
Can't believe I missed this (KB on Asylum TV Channel 31 - Melbourne). How do I get a second chance?
What a hoot of a weekend!
thoroughly loved the cruise...... my wife and friend had a great time dancing.... It was really great to meet you all at last and see many of the faces behind the (Rock n Roll Scars) emails..... KB,s music was unreal.
Do you know I'm kicking myself - I found out Kevin was appearing at Sweeneys - that's 5 minutes from where I live - on Sunday 8th December - that was my birthday - how unlucky am I. Will you keep me posted on his concerts in the new year?
Saw the show at Sweeney's Campbelltown- it was fantastic. Looking forward to seeing you next time you are in Sydney.
Thanks for the great night on Sunday at the KB Xmas Harbour cruise. Kevin and the boys still sound great and it was the best show I have seen for years. Also the boat, food, drinks all was first class thanks again. Also can you please put me on your email list for future KB events.Great job on organising the cruise and I will hopefully hear from you soon.
We all had a great time :) Can't wait for the next one.
Great show at the RMYC last week.
sensational two sets from Kevin Borich with Harry Brus on bass and Mark Kennedy on drums.. standing room only and a packed dance floor from the opening minutes as the Kevin Borich Express turned in one of the best performances they have done for a long time. Should have been recorded live..
my hubby is a fan of Kevin for 25 years and we saw him again 2 weeks ago and want to buy Rock N Roll Sandwich and a video. I have looked and cannot find any?
,,,,,,,,,,,what a night at st johns park,,on friday,,please keep me up to date with kevins sydney gigs,,,,,,,,,,the express with mark and ian,,is dynamic,,to say the least,,i have seen,,satriani,,gambale,,steve vai,,,,dave leslie,,,they are all different,,,and cant be compared,,and it would be silly to do so,,,,kevins arrangements are second to none,,i have noticed,,his feel for a groove is second to none,,,his raw energy is second to none,,,,and his songs, regardless of vintage are from an era when people actually had to study a style,,that is hard to nail,,once,,let alone for 2 hours,,,,relentless guitar work,,,with the raw sound only a few can make work,,,the solos were spot on,,,not to be missed,,and i looked around and watched the response,of the people there,on friday,,,not many lost focus of what was going on,,we are going again, and again,,this time i have 5 more people comming,,,,hey we bought 2 t/shirts and a c/d,,,on friday,,,,thanks,,for the night,i will never forget,it,,i cant remember much about BB KING,,the night i saw him,or steve vai,,what about the basement,,,,,,,,c,mon do it again,,,
I visited OZ this past summer for the 1st time. On a submarine actually. Heard some of Kevin's' music. I couldn't find a CD in Freemantle or Perth. As a guitar player for 30+ years I truly appreciate the music. How or where can I get some CD's? I'm in San Diego, California.
Good to get your message today as I meant to send you one. To you and yours and all of the KB army Happy Christmas and in 2003 lets hope we're Real Lucky and we get to be at the root of a Survival Story!
We had a great time on the cruise and party boys gig. Just love your stuff Kev

It was good to catch up with you at Sweeneys we really enjoyed the show. We brought The Long Way To The Top DVD. We also send our Christmas greetings to you and your families and greetings for the New Year as well.
Of the CD'S that are available, do any of them have : 1. The John Lee Hooker Song that KB does or 2. The Silent Treatment If you could please let me know Also, Is there any prospect of any of KB's more 'matured' recordings, being put onto CD, at any stage ?? eg. 'Eagle', for example. The 1/12 Harbour Cruise was really good for the 11 of us, so I'm looking forward to the next round of gigs for Sydney in '03. All the best to yourself, KB & The Crew, for Christmas & the New Year,
The house is full of prodigal children and parents so I've snuck in to read my email and enjoy a little Xmas Joint Hope you have a Peaceful Xmas and a Rockin New Year BTW the therapeutic value of Kevs Kruise and Bandfest achieved more good than years of therapy and doctors advice. You should prescribe at least 2 a year....I'll be there!!
What a great show Kevin and the band put on at Woodford and on a pleasant night under the stars. Hopefully the KB Express will be at Woodford again.
