| Just
thought I'd let you know the Man was a highlight of LWTTT on Saturday.........
but only one song..bummer. The show was pretty guitar dominated with a lot
of samey Marshall driven excess but KBs guitar stood out .....The fact that
KB is still performing his own thing today just gave him that edge over
a lot of the other acts. (He also looked the youngest of the lot) As we
say in the country He done real good P.S I wore my KB T shirt just to fly the flag |

| ...............Whatever
it was, the ABC listened to the heartbeat of Australian babyboomers and
found it led straight to a pot of gold.
As filming began last week of its latest rock show, Love is in the Air, the network was still rejoicing over the success of Long Way to the Top, its 2001 overview of Australian rock acts from the 1950s to today. With DVDs, CDs and concert spin-offs, the show has grossed "between $15 million and $20 million", said its creator, Paul Clarke. Released 18 months ago, the Long Way to the Top DVD is the ABC's most successful, selling 20,000 copies. A successful nationwide concert tour followed, featuring such legends as Little Pattie, Masters Apprentices and Stevie Wright. The CD of the tour sold 30,000 copies in its first two weeks and is now close to platinum, or 70,000 copies. Over 1 million viewers tuned into the ABC's broadcast of the concert last month.........
