Were you there? Got any memories? tell us.

I was at Rockarena. Went there to see Stevie Nix. Got blown away by KB. Jamming with Santana on stage - what a compliment . I went to so many KBE gigs after that. The guy is the best rocknroll/blues guitarist in Australia and surely one of the best in the world. There are many technically great guitarists out there but none that can show that raw brilliance that KB does.

It's been a LONG time since I saw him live, so I'm looking forward to it. I have very happy memories of a balmy Sydney summer arvo (could it REALLY be 27 years ago ??? yikes!) when I saw Kev for the first time on the bill at the Sydney Rockarena show with Santana and Fleetwood Mac, and he was damn fine.

I was at Rockarena. God it was hot, we all got badly sunburnt. It was a great gig. Borich can stand up with Santana anytime. My girlfriend at the time. (Who is now my wife and didn't want to come to the show)) Decided to drive down later and asked the gate attendant if he could help her find me.
I was only amongst 60,000 screaming fans!!
PS. My wife fell in love with Kevin Borich at the Long Way show in Melbourne.
He is a King.

i remember the gig clearly, traffic jams for miles to get there,Hot, hot fuckin hot day, and hot music. The Express rocked that day! and you came back with Carlos it was sensational.I was right up the back so it was totally different to any pub gig where i can check out which Gibo or Strat you are playing.By the way what ever happened to the Dark timber stained early 70,s Strat? It howled!!
By far the highlight of the day.
I tell "the young folk" about that day i don't think they get the vibe, they just think I'm old.
Is your son still playing drums?Saw you both at Broadford. One word.AWESOME
Any way better go, looking forward to hearing some of your new riffs.

i'll never forget about that jam, that huge smile on Kev's dial throughout the jam
